CAD(Computer Aided Design) is the use of computer systems to aid in the creation, modification, analysis, or optimization of a design. It is crucial to improve the performance of the chip. As the comlexity of circuit increases and time to market is getting shorter, CAD tool is required to quickly evaluatethe performance of circuit, to correct the operation, to optimize the circuit. We develope the software to exactly analyze and predict the performance of circuit, to study the system design automation for optimization. Also, we analyze the factors to degrade the performance of circuit and study the design methodology to improve it.
Machine Learning
As the semiconductor technology has developed, the density of circuit is improved, however, it causes the yield loss. Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix have developed the design methodology for improviing the yield of circuit. We study the new methodology based on machine learning technique to solve the problem arised from manufacturing by analyzing and learning process data
