Next-Generation Wireless Network Protocol Design
Future wireless network environment will show increased network density, large traffic with various QoS requirements, and heterogeneous types of networks including 5G, WLAN, and many types of IoT systems. In such environment, new network protocols are needed to achieve high system spectral efficiency and efficient co-existence of heterogeneous networks. Our goal is to analyze the new environment and design new and optimized protocols.
Mobile Computing and Applications
With increase of mobile devices and types of sensors equipped with the devices, new information can be retrieved by collecting and analyzing data from sensors. We are interested in designing algorithms and techniques for applications such as human and object localization, mobile tracking and motion sensing.
