Requiring logical deduction and innovative thinking, the core subjects for study in computer science are S/W and H/W design, development, and programming principles; and effective methodology for processing different types of data, theories and implementations by computer.
At the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, students develop specialized knowledge in various fields by taking a diverse range of classes. A University-Industry-Research Joint Research System has also been established in cooperation with domestic and international research institutions and enterprises to further student studies.
